Genesis on stage Saturday at Paradiso

After Uriah Heep and Atomic Rooster, another prestigious British pop music group, Genesis, will be performing on Saturday evening at Dancing Paradiso. These highly talented exponents of avant-garde sound occupy tenth place in the national hit parade for LPs with their third musical gem. These highly talented exponents of avant-garde sound occupy tenth place in the national charts for 33 rpm records with their third musical gem, released under the label "Nursery Cryme."

In this recording, they express a richly evocative sound rendered with exquisite passages and rhythmic variations. The band, formed five years ago, consists of drummer Phil Collins, lead guitarist Steve Hackett, bassist Michael Rutherford, vocalist and flutist Peter Gabriel, and finally the leader and mastermind of the group Tony Banks, an excellent instrumental wild card because he plays the organ, piano, and mellotron perfectly. Genesis are considered among the most representative of avant-garde music for their advanced phrasing and revolutionary passages and variations.

The Genesis concert will take place on Saturday evening, starting at 9 p.m., and will be presented by Fulvio Marion.
